I LOVE B&B’s sea salt shampoo, and am among those who are thrilled to have found an affordable alternative to Big shampoo by Lush.
I’ve been wanting to try other B&B products and had a trip coming up, so this was the perfect time to get travel sized items to try.
The foaming scrub was nice, but I would have liked it to have been just a bit scrubbier. I do appreciate that it isn’t oily, as many scrubs are.
I don’t normally use conditioner, but did like the smell and feel of this one. It didn’t leave my hair greasy as many conditioners do.
I haven’t tried the face mask yet but will soon.
So here’s where we get to the not-so-great part.
As I mentioned, I LOVE the sea salt shampoo and keep it in my shower at all times. It smells great, I love the large grain salts and the granularity of it, and my hair loves it as well. You can imagine my shock, then, when there was not a single grain of salt in the packet! Even in the product description B&B states, “... give your scalp the scrub of its life...” The shampoo in this set definitely didn’t fit that description at all. It was nearly the same exact consistency as the conditioner.
I will say that I am SO very glad that I had already tried the shampoo (and now use it almost exclusively) prior to trying this travel kit, or else I would never have purchased the shampoo based on the sample pack that came in this set.
B&B might want to do some investigating and/or quality control to make sure customers are getting the best product experience so that they will come back and purchase the full size items.
