Spring Fling Look
Spring is all about fresh, flawless skin, so its important to keep up a good skincare routine. Start by cleansing and toning, followed by your favourite moisturiser for a basic routine that guarantees great skin.
We then applied some of Benefits Porefessional balm to help minimise pores and give a smooth canvas for foundation application!
Next, we mixed in a little of KIKOs Face & Skin glow daycream into our Maybelline dream flawless nude foundation for a light sparkle and that dewy finish which is perfect for spring! Apply this all over the face and blend down to the neck with your 'The Lynx' flat kabuki brush for a flawless and streak free face!
Now, its time to conceal for a truly flawless face, so grab your favourite concealing product (we love the Collection lasting perfection concealer) and apply it to the forehead, under the eyes, down the centre of the nose and on the chin - plus over any other blemishes or dark patches you may have. You can blend everything in with your 'The ocelot' concealer brush for seamless concealing!
Lets start on the eyes.
Apply a primer all over the lid to ensure that your product stays in place all day long and doesn't slide or crease. We are using the Nicka K eyeshadow primer.
You can then apply a light golden shimmer shadow all over the lid using your 'The sand cat' fluffy eye shadow brush. We have chosen shade 'Illuminate' by MakeUp Revolution as it has a light shimmer which makes the eyes pop!
To give the eyes some shape and definition we are taking a matte taupe colour and our 'The Bornean Bay Cat' tapered eye shadow blending brush and lightly blending this into the crease of the eye.
We have chosen to use shade Tease from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette as it gives a light amount of colour which perfectly compliments the golden shimmer previously used.
To make the eyes appear larger and more open we applied some white eyeliner into the lower waterline. This is optional, of course, but it really gives the eyes a more wide awake look!
To further define the eyes, we are taking some ELF Studio Cream eye liner and our 'The Caracal' eye liner brush and painting on a simple and elegant wing. We have extended this just past the outer corner of the eye for a feminine finish, which also makes the eyes appear larger!
To complete the liner look, we are taking a black khol pencil liner and lining the upper waterline. This is optional, but it means that any mascara you apply will blend into the lash line seamlessly and you wont be left with any 'bare' patches on the lashline.
You can then go in with either your favourite mascara, or a pair of false lashes, depending on how dramatic you want the final look.

To finish the eyes off, let's apply some mascara to the bottom lashes to balance out the eyes and make them extra feminine and flirty. We are loving the Maybelline lash sensational mascara for a fanned out finish!
We are drawing on a vintage vibe for our brows in this look. Using a brow pencil (or ink) shape and define the brows and then fill them in with a brow powder to set them and make them more natural looking.
Vintage brows are strong, dark and defined, so don't be afraid to fill your brows in a little more than usual. When paired with this eye look vintage brows will look divine!
To bring some shape and structure back into the face, take a light contouring powder - we love Hoola by Benefit - and your 'Leopard' Tapered face brush and gently dust under your cheek bones and around the temples. If you want to define the face further you could also contour the sides of the nose and the jawline. For detailed contouring instructions, check out our new guide.
We also wanted to add a cute blush to the cheeks for a flush of spring time colour. We used Rose Garden powder blush by NYX cosmetics and gently dusted it onto the apples of the cheeks with our 'The Leopard' duo fibre powder brush!
To finish off the make up, its important to balance the colours out with a lip product!
We lined and defined the lips with the ELF lip definer and shaper. Not only does this give a great shape to the lips but it also means that your lipstick will be prevented from bleeding and feathering.
We then used our 'Rusty Spotted Cat' lip brush to apply a generous amount of a rose pink lipstick, like the Bourjois shine edition lipstick in #27 Oh My Doll. Using a brush to apply your lipstick means you'll get a more precise application and a longer lasting finish!
We then used our Bella & Bear 'The Bear' paddle brush to give our hair a relaxed centre parting and lightly curled it!TIP; If you curl your hair and then brush it through gently with your 'The Bear' paddle brush, you will end up with gorgeous loose and relaxed curls which are perfect for this look!
