Classic Red Valentines look

February is upon us, and as we are in the love-liest month our thoughts are turning to all those Valentines makeup looks! Today, we're going with a classic and showing you how to get this undeniably beautiful red lip look.

Lets start with our skin for this look. We first go over with the Bodyshop Instablur primer for a poreless and flawless base.

Now, using our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki and some full coverage foundation we are going to buff the skin. We use a mix of Estee Lauder Double wear and Bodyshop Drops of Gold highlight here.

Lets conceal now to disguise any problem areas. Using the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer and our Bella&Bear Ocelot conceler brush we are going to blend out any dark circles or blemishes.

Its time to set that concealer now! We want a dewy finish to the skin but we must still set our concealer to prevent it from creasing or sliding. So, we are using our Bella&Bear Tiger brush and some Essence All about matte powder and we are pressing it over our concealer.

Lets lock that base in place now with a spritz of the Revolution Oil control fixing mist!

We're going to work on our eyes now, beginning by pressing on some Benefit Stay Dont stray primer over the lids and up to the brow bone.

Now, using our Bella &Bear sand cat brush and a matte ivory shadow we are going to sweep it all over the lid to create an even base.

Picking up our Bella&Bear Bornean bay cat brush now, and a bronze shadow, we are working into the crease of the lid using a windscreen wiper motion - this will ensure an even distribution of colour and a soft line.

Lets also use our Bella&Bear Marbled cat brush here to work a small amount of that same bronze shadow along the lower lash line.

Now, its time to line! We want a sweeping, elegant wing, so we are going to use out Bella&Bear Serval angled liner brush! We're using it along with some Essence cushion liner here.

Next, we're going to use our famous Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty lash curlers for some lift! We curl for around 20-30 seconds per eye and we lock that curl in with a coat of the Benefit Rollerlash mascara - be sure to paint the lower lashes too.

To make the eyes extra feminine and flirty we are going to apply a set of falsies. We use our Bella&Bear angled tweezers to place a set of the GWA LA Ultra Luxe lashes as close to the lash line as possible

Lets frame those eyes with some pretty brows now. To start we are brushing through the hairs using the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush to lightly shape them,.

Now, using the brush end and some ABH Dipbrow pomeade we are going to work through the brows, filling in sparser areas and defining the shape further.

You may want to work though with the spoolie again for a softer, more diffused finish.

Its time to add some life back into that skin. We don't want the face overly defined but we are going to add a flush of healthy colour with some matte bronzer. So, taking our Bella&Bear Bobcat brush and some Benefit Hoola, we are going to work it onto the hollows of the cheeks, the temples and around the hairline.

We are also using our Bella&Bear Margay cat brush to work some of that same bronzer down the sides of the nose,

Lets use a golden highlight now to really make the skin glow. Taking some ELF Golden Glow highlight on our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo fiber brush we are generously dusting it along the high points of the cheeks, down the centre of the nose and on the cupids bow. We also use our finger to place some on the brow bone and on the inner corner of the eye!

And now, for that statement pout. First it is essential to line the lips to ensue that our product doesn't bleed out or smudge throughout the day. We are using some Rimmel 1000 kisses in 'Red Dynamite' and we are slightly over lining the lips here.

Now, taking our trusty Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip brush and some Bodyshop Berry Glaze lip liquid we are going to paint the lips with it. Our brush ensures you get an even coating of colour and that you 'stay within the lines'

As for our hair, we are keeping it loose and casual. We simply brushed through using our Bella&Bear Brush on You detangler, and we pulled the hair into a loose, low bun. We teased out strands around the front of the hair and we lightly curled them for some texture!

Stunning! You're ready to wow this Valentines, whether you're going for a dinner with your love, or catching a movie with the girls! Be sure to share your #bellaandbearbabes snaps with us over on Insta for a chance to be featured on our grid!
