Warm Autumn Makeup

Since posting our easy braid hair tutorial we have also had some comments on the makeup for the look, so in todays post, we will be showing you how to get this vibrant, autumnal make up look.

Its easy to do and can be worn with false lashes for extra glam or with regular mascara for an extra special day time look. The beautiful colours reflect the autumn atmosphere perfectly and can easily be matched with a variety of outfits!

Begin with a clean, dry and moisturised face - this is essential to help the application of your products to be smooth and flawless. Apply some 'Maybelline BabySkin Fatigue Blur' primer all over the face with your fingertips.

You can then apply some 'Gerard Cosmetics BB+ illumination Creme' as this gives the skin a gorgeous glow - we just did this with our fingertips.

To smooth out the skin we are applying some 'Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation' (in shade 'Fresco') all over the face with our Bella & Bear Lynx kabuki brush, buffing it in circular motions towards the centre of the face.

To hide any dark circles we are using the 'Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer ' and blending into the foundation with our Bella&Bear Ocelot concealer brush - the large, flat shape of this brush helps to evenly disperse the product and blend it to perfection.

To set the make up we are using some 'Maybelline Matte Maker' powder and our Bella&Bear The Tiger large powder brush. Using a powder will keep your make up from sliding off the face throughout the day.

To start work on the eyes, dab some 'Urban Decay Primer Potion' onto the eyelid and right up to the brow bone and then go in with some 'Aphrodite' shadow from the 'BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic' palette and your Bella & Bear Black footed cat brush - applying all over the lid and blending into the crease.

We are just using one shadow on the lid for this look to keep it poppin' and vibrant.

If your shadow is looking a little harsh on the edges just blend it out with your Bella&Bear Pampas cat brush for a softer finish.

Lets balance out the eyes by taking our Bella&Bear 'Fishing Cat' brush and the same shadow and gently applying it under the lower lashline.

To add some extra sparkle to the eyes, take your Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush (the angled brush end) and some MUA 'Copper' mono pearl eyeshadow and carefully line your waterline. You could also use a black kohl pencil to the give the look a more smoky finish!

To make the eyes more defined and shape use your favourite liner to create a subtle wing along the lash line.

To finish the eyes add a slick of your favourite mascara - we are using the 'Too Faced Better than Sex' mascara as it really pack a punch!

If you want to add some extra glam then apply some 'Ardell demi wispies' false lashes - they are natural looking yet add something special to your look. We like to apply these with our slanted tweezers from our Bella&Bear 'The Pluckers' set as it helps get the falsies as close to the lashline as possible for optimum blending!

To open the eye area we are filling in and shaping our brows using our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx duo brow brush.

We start by using the spoolie end to shape the brows and then use the angled brush end plus some brow powder to fill in and define them!

We are adding some colour to the face by applying some ELF contour powder from the 'Studio Contour and sculpt' Kit along the cheekbones and on the temples using our Bella&Bear 'The Leopard' brush and then we are applying some rose pink blush lightly on the apples of the cheeks using the Bella&Bear 'Cheetah' duo fibre powder brush!

To bring some light to the face we are dusting the high points of cheekbones, the brow bones, the button of the nose and the cupids bow with some Highlighter from the Make Up revolution Ultra Sculpt contour kit and our Bella&Bear 'Jungle Cat' brush!

To bring the look together we are applying some lipbalm and lining the lips with the Essence 'In the Nude' lip pencil and filling in the lips with some 'Gerard Cosmetics Underground' lipstick - the grey undertones of this lippy bring out the colour on the eyes perfectly.

If you want a very clean and precise lip look, then don't forget to use your Bella&Bear 'Rusty Spotted Cat' lip brush.

You can then spritz the face with some 'Urban Decay All Nighter' Setting Spray to keep your make up in place all day and beyond!

We teamed the look with this high neck wine dress from Primark and this gorgeous golden leaf necklace  from NewLook.

This look is gorgeous with any hairstyle but don't forget you could try out our easy braided hair for ultimate autumn glam!
