One of life's many lessons is that 'things are not always as they seem' ... and that is certainly the case for our adorable 'Eye&Mighty' Eye lash Curler.

It may just seem like a dainty, one use tool that curls the lashes to perfection and beyond but, girls, it is so much more than that! Did you know you can also use your beautiful new lash curler to apply your eye liner?

That's right. Eye liner.

Just follow our 4 simple steps to eye liner heaven! You'll be thankful you did!

Start with your face clean and dry - no day old make up, please! You can apply your usual base and face products like I have done above - but make sure to keep your lashes bare and natural for now.

As a beginner, it is best to use a pencil or gel/cream eye liner product to complete this trick. We love the E.L.F 'cream eyeliner' in Black. Dont use a liquid liner as this spreads out too easily and will end up creating a mess on the lid!

Taking your chosen liner product, draw a straight line along the top part of the lash curler with it. You can draw this as thick or as thin as you like, but keep it as straight as you can - see our image below for a guide!

Now comes the cool part! Use your lash curler as you usually would - place your lashes through it and clamp it down - keeping it in place for about 30 seconds per eye. Make sure you press the base of the curler to your lash line firmly, this will ensure maximum transfer of the product.

Our 'Eye&Mighty' lash curler is the best curler to use for this trick as it fits to the shape of the eye perfectly and gets all the way from inner corner to outer corner!

When you remove the lash curler from your eye you will see that the line of product you created on the curler will have transferred to your lash line, making a perfect line across your lid! Easy eye liner and curled lashes in seconds!

Step #4; Wing it out.

This step is totally optional as you may already be happy with the liner that your curler has created. But, if you prefer a little more detail you can now go in and wing the edges out for the ultimate doll eyes.

Don't forget to apply a couple of coats of your favourite mascara now, too - we love the Urban Decay 'Perversion' Mascara! This will frame and finish the eyes perfectly. Swoon!

Make sure you clean your lash curler after every use to keep it in its best condition and so you can get the best results from it. You can do this by applying some eye make up remover to a cotton disc and rubbing it all over the lash curler and pad to remove any left over product!
