90's Glam look

We may be half way to 2020 (arghh!) but the 90's have never been hotter! Everywhere you look this season you'll see 90's inspired pieces; from scrunchies to leopard print! So, in the spirit of the decade we have put together this glamorous look.

Lets start with our skin, we want it to be natural ... think your-skin-but-better. We're going to use a primer first to make it poreless and flawless, we use the Benefit Porefessional pearl here.

Then, taking our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki brush we are going to apply our foundation. We chose the Bare Minerals Bareskin foundation for a lightweight yet smooth finish.

Now, lets add some concealer to disguise any problem areas and bring light to the skin. We're blending some Essence Camouflage concealer into our foundation using our Bella&Bear Golden Cat concealer brush

Finally, we're setting our base with a generous spritz of the Revolution Oil Control fixing spray

Its brow time now! Brows in the 90's were dark - darker than your hair even! We're starting by brushing through our brows using our Bella&Bear Iberian Brow Brush spoolie to lightly work them into a shape.

Then, using the brush end, we are filling in and shaping them with some ABH Dipbrow pomeade.

You can brush through again with the spoolie if you like, for a softer finish to your brows.

Its time to work on the eyes now. As this is more of a glam look we are steering away from dark lids  of the 90's and instead going for something a little more neutral.

Taking our Bella&Bear Jaguarundy cat brush and a taupe brown we are working it all over the lid and pulling it out lightly at the outer corner. We are using the Essence nudes palette for this look

Next, we apply a flat wing. We use our Bella&Bear Caracal liner brush and some ELF Gel cream liner and we draw along the top lash line, keeping as close as possible and creating a flat wing on the outer corner.

To create a grunge vibe, we are now using our Bella&Bear Margay cat brush and a chocolate brown shadow and we are working it along our eyeliner, pulling it upward slightly for a smudged finish.

Lets work on our lashes now. First we are using our Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty curlers for lift!

We lock that curl in with a coat of the Bodyshop Happy Go Lash mascara!

We want to add some falsies now, for super glam eyes. So, we use our Bella&Bear angled tweezers to place some Ardell Demi Wispies falsies as close to the natural lash line as possible.

To add to the smokiness, we are again picking up our Bella&Bear Margay Cat brush and we are working some of that same chocolate brown shadow along the lower lash line, stopping at the midway point.

Contouring wasn't a trend in the 90's like it is now, but thankfully bronzer was on the market, so we are going with that! We're lightly dusting the hollows of the cheeks with some Hoola by Benefit on our Bella&Bear Tiger brush.

Then, for those bright 90's cheeks we are going to use a peach blusher on the apples, working it in a swirling motion using our Bella&Bear Bobcat blush brush. We used the ELF Blush powder palette here.

Its all about the lip liner now. Blending hadn't been discovered in the 90's so we are going to start by outlining the lips using a dark lip pencil - we used soft berry by Essence, over lining slightly.

Then, using our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted cat lip brush we are painting the lips with a ultra light nude lipstick. We used M.A.C Honey Love.

And, it wouldn't be a 90's glam look without a beauty spot. We used the Essence Brown liquid liner and pressed it just above the side of the lip.

For our hair, we want it to be big and wild! We start by brushing through with our Bella&Bear Brush on You Detangler to relieve the hair of knots and tangles.

We then push the hair over to one side and create a side part, backcombing the hair at the root and around 2/3 of the way down to the tips. Set in place with a little Treseme Freeze hold hairspray!

And thats it, you're a 90's babe! Be sure to share your #bellaandbearbabes snaps with us on Insta for a chance to be featured on our grid!
