Moon Maiden Festival Look

With the closing of Coachella, festival season '19 is officially upon us! So, we thought we would get all dressed up and get in the festival mood; we're talking sparkle, sass and hair everywhere - and ours has a wild wicca vibe! Let's start summer '19 with a bang!

We're going to start with our brows for this look, brushing them through with the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush to tame and lightly shape them.

Next, we use the brush end to work some Revolution brow pomade through the brows with quick strokes - this will help to fill in sparser areas and to define the shape.

Now, we want to take those brows to the next level, so using our Bella&Bear Golden Cat small concealer brush and some UD Naked Skin concealer we are going to 'carve out' the brows. We outline the brows with the product and pull it outward so it will blend into our foundation later on.

Next step is the eyes - we want them to be dazzling! We are starting by working some Kryolan shadow primer over the lid and up to the brow bone using our ring finger.

Then, we use a matte cream shadow and we work it over the lid and, again, up to the brow bones using our Bella&Bear Sand cat brush.

Lets start with some of that sparkle. Taking a bronze shimmery shadow - we're using ChiChi Spices Palette and our Bella&Bear jaguarundy cat brush, we are applying this to the lid, building up the colour until you are pleased.

We want to add some depth to the eyes now, so we're taking a matte black shadow on our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay cat brush and we are working it along the crease of the eye with a windscreen wiper motion, we also pull it outward a little at the outer corner for a smoked out effect.

Lets go in with some wicked liner now. Using our Bella&Bear Caracal angled liner brush and some NYX Gel black liner we are starting by drawing in a thick wing along the upper lash line.

Next, we extend this down past the inner corner of the eye using our Bella&Bear Caracal liner brush and in a arrowhead shape. We will be adding more liner to the bottom lash line too, but we will wait until after our foundation is applied for this.

To enhance the eyes further we are going to curl the lashes using our Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty lash curler, this will give them lift and a gorgeous fanned out effect.

We lock that curl in with a coat of the Maybelline Lash sensational mascara.

We are also going in with some dramatic falsies now. We use our Bella&Bear angled tweezers to place some Eylure X Vegas Nay Lashes in 'Easy Elegance' as close to the natural lash line as possible

Its time to start working on our skin now. We are going for a flawless, glowing base so we first need to apply a primer to give our base makeup a smooth and even canvas. We're using the Bodyshop Instablur for this.

Next, we're applying some Estee Lauder doublewear foundation mixed in with some Gerard Cosmetics + Illumination creme, and we're using our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki. We chose this full coverage foundation for that porcelain finish.

We want to apply a concealer now, to ensure any dark circles or problem areas are banished! We work some of that same UD Naked Skin concealer on using our Bella&Bear Ocelot concealer brush, working the product outward for a seamless finish.

Now, lets set that concealer. We're leaving the rest of our base dewy but its important to set our concealer to prevent it from sliding. We're pressing on some Laura mercier translucent setting powder with our Bella&Bear Leopard face brush.

Let's go back in and finish the eyes now. We're picking up our Bella&Bear Caracal liner brush and that same black liner and this time we are drawing a line along the bottom lash line, making it run parallel to the top wing.

We are gently smoking that line out by applying some matte black shadow to the centre part with our Bella&Bear Marbled Cat brush and pulling it downward. This will make our eye look more dramatic and statement!

Lets add a dash of colour to the face before we get to blinging up! Taking our Bella&Bear Bobcat Blush brush and some Hoola bronzer by benefit we dust the hollows of the cheeks, the temples and the hair line.

Then, using our Bella&Bear Cheetah duo fiber powder brush and a golden toned highlight, we dust it over the cheekbones and the temples. We have used the Toofaced Sweetheart in Peach Beach

Now, lets add that sparkle. We are applying this golden temporary tattoo over the brows and the centre of the forehead. We also apply it over the cheeks and the nose. We use our Bella&Bear pointed tweezers to pop these in place so they are neat and straight!

For our lips, we are keeping them neutral so after lining, we use our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat brush to paint them with some Mac Mehr Lipstick.

As an extra touch we are applying some gold leaf over our decolletage - we put some eyelash glue over the area and press the gold leaf on top, then we brush over it using our Bella&Bear Fishing Cat brush to crack it!

As for our hair, we want it wickedly wild. We start by brushing through with our Bella&Bear Brush on you detangler for knot-free locks.

Then we part our hair into two and tightly braid each side. We then use our Bella&Bear Brush on You comb to loosen those braids and tease out random pieces of hair for a laid back finish.

We pull the look together with a felt black hat and black top! Gorgeously spooky!
