Aquamarine Look
If you like a bit of mystical, mermaid inspired glitter then you are gonna love todays look! Perfect for pool parties or those famous holiday boat parties, its easy to apply and so, so sparkly!
For a glowing skin we started by applying some Gerard Cosmetics BB+ Illumination Creme to our face and neck with our fingertips. After allowing this to absorb we took our beautiful Bella&Bear Jaguar Angled Kabuki and some full coverage foundation (we used Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation) and buffed it all over the skin in outward strokes, making sure to also blend down to the neck.
Next, for a flawless look we are going in with some concealer to add light to the face and to disguise any problem areas, like blemishes or dark circles. We applied some Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer and blended it into our foundation with our Bella&Bear Golden Cat Small Concealer Brush - this brush is great for getting into all the curves and contours of your face.
To set that concealer, lets dust on some translucent powder. We used our Bella&Bear Leopard brush and some ELF Studio HD Powder, gently pressing it onto the areas where we applied concealer. If you prefer a matte look to the skin then go ahead and apply your powder all over the face.
Now its time to work on those enchanting eyes. After applying a primer (we used Urban Decays Primer Potion) to the lid and up to the brow bone we took our Bella&Bear Iromote brush - you could also use your Golden Cat brush - and some Maybelline 24hr colour tattoo eye shadow in 'Turquoise Forever' and applied it all over the lid, extending the crease line out to form the top of a wing shape.
Next, using our Bella&Bear Fishing Cat brush and some Maybelline 24hr color Tattoo eye shadow in 'Endless Purple' we filled in the rest of that wing and blended the 2 colours together on the lid. The great thing about these shadows is that the colours are super intense, they last for hours and hours and they are waterproof, making them perfect for those summer adventures! We also continued the wing down the the outer third of the lower lash line!
Let's define those eyes with some liner. First, we are taking our Bella&Bear Caracal Liner Brush (you could also use our Serval Angled Liner Brush) and some black gel liner; such as the ABH Waterproof Creme Liner - and we are creating a thin wing along the top lash line. Once this is dry we are going in with some Collection Glam Crystals Glitter Liner in 'Le Freak' and we're just topping that black line with it for some extra enchantment!
After applying a coat of waterproof mascara - we love TooFaced Better Than Sex Waterproof - we applied some dramatic falsies. We apply these by picking them up with our Bella&Bear Angled Tweezers, putting glue along the strip, allowing to dry for 20 seconds and then placing them as close the natural lash line as possible.
To enhance the eyes even more lets work on the brows. Rather than our usual brow colour we are going to make them blue to keep with the styling of this look. We used the brush end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush to apply some more of that Maybelline 24hr color tattoo in 'Turquoise Forever' over the hairs, being sure to apply it to the roots to get as much coverage as possible. We then brushed through the hairs with the spoolie end to get the shape as desired.
Next, we're going to add a little colour and shape to the face. Taking a shimmer bronzer - we love the ELF Bronzer Quad - and our Bella&Bear Bobcat Angled Blush Brush we dusted the lower cheekbones, the temples and the sides of the nose.
We really want the skin to sparkle for this look, so its time to add some shimmer! First though we are taking our W7 Shimmer Roll On in 'Envy' and we are applying it to the cheekbones, temples, the cupids bow and the tip of the nose, blending it into the skin with the same Bella&Bear Bobcat brush.
Now to really shine we are applying some small glitter particles to the cheekbones. Using glitter fix, or eyelash glue we are mapping out where we want the glitter to go and then we are just gently going to press the glitter on top with our fingertips.
Let's also add a little colour to those lips. To avoid going too overboard with the blue, we have decided to balance out the look with a pink lip. We took some Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in Buttercup and applied it to the lips generously. Don't forget you could also use your Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush to apply your lipstick.
As a final touch we are going to apply an iridescent shimmer or highlight to the skin. We used our big, fluffy Bella&Bear Tiger brush to generously dust the cheekbones, temples, nose and brow bones with some highlight from the BH Cosmetics Take Me to Brazil palette.
Then, we spritzed the whole face with a setting spray to keep everything picture perfect all day. we are loving the Makeup Revolution Oil Control Spray right now, it gives the skin the most gorgeous glow!

We prepared our hair for the wig by brushing it through with our Bella&Bear The Bear Paddle brush to remove any knots and tangles. We then parted the hair down the middle and created a tight braid on each side. These don't need to be neat, but should be tight to keep all the hairs in place. We then pinned the braids to the back of the head, keeping them as flat to the head as possible.
You can then pop your wig on and style it as you like! We decided to go for a side braid, pulling at it for extra width and volume!
