Bronze Ambition Look

Bronze is a shade that all of us can pull off and its just perfect for transitioning right through from Summer to the autumn and party season. It makes tanned girls dazzling, pale girls smoking and dark girls fierce. Todays look is easy to achieve and will leave you glowing, so go get it!

To start, we are prepping the skin with a generous pump of the Gerard Cosmetics BB+ illumination creme and blending it onto the skin with our Bella&Bear Lynx Kabuki Brush. This creme has golden flecks so it really gives the skin a gorgeous glow.

We are then going in with one of our fave foundations - the Revlon PhotoReady makeup foundation - and the same Bella&Bear Lynx brush and are gently buffing it all over the face and neck, leaving it a few minutes to settle and dry.

To bring some light to the face and cover any dark spots or blemishes we are grabbing our Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer and blending it in an outward motion on the skin with our Bella&Bear Ocelot Large Concealer brush. We have placed the concealer under the eyes to cover dark circles, down the nose and on the on the forehead for light on the face, on the chin and below the cheekbones for a structured face.

To follow this, we are grabbing our Bella&Bear Tiger Large Powder brush and gently setting the concealer with an invisible packed powder.

Let's start work on the peepers! We want our make up to last all day so we are priming the eyes with some Urban Decay priming potion. Not only will this give our eyeshadow staying power but it'll also make the colours POP!

To give the eyes some shape we are going to use a 'transition shade' eyeshadow - we have chosen a matte orange-brown from the ChiChi Spices palette and we are blending it along the crease of the eye with our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush, using a windscreen wiper motion.

Now, let's get our bronze on! We're using the same ChiChi palette and picking up some of this gorgeous bronze metallic shadow on our Bella&Bear Iromote brush - tapping it gently to avoid any fallout - and we are then packing the shadow all over the lid and up to the crease. Keep applying until you are happy with your sparkle! To even things out pick up your Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush and gently blend the metallic shadow into your transition shadow - you can also bring that matte shade down under the outer two thirds of the lower lash line.

To give the eyes a sultry look lets add some liner. We are lining our bottom waterline with a good old kohl pencil (hint; we love Benefits BadGal) and a liquid liner to create a thick wing along the entire top lash line using our Bella&Bear Caracal eyeliner brush.

We then applied a generous coat of our fave mascara - Urban Decay Perversion - but if you want this look to be more dramatic then follow us and apply a set of natural-but-better falsies. We find that the best way to apply our falsies is to grip them in our Bella&Bear Angled Tweezers and get them as close to the natural lash line as possible for a seamless finish.

To frame the eyes we are going to do some work on the brows. We're beginning by brushing through the brows with the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush to shape and tame them. Then, we are picking up our fave brow product - the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade - on the angled brush end of our Iberian Lynx brush and starting to brush it through the brows in natural hair-like strokes. The brows should start to look more shaped, defined and groomed. To finish we brush through the brows with the spoolie end of our brush again to disperse any excess product and set them with a clear brow mascara like the Essence Brow Topcoat .

Lets bring some shape and structure to the face. Grab your Bella&Bear Margay Cat brush and a contour powder or bronzer (depending on how strong you want the look), we're using the City Colours contour palette, and begin to gently dust it along the cheekbones, the temples, and down the sides of the nose. Just make sure everything is blended out and natural looking - no harsh lines here!

To compliment that contour, lets highlight! Highlight is a big part of the makeup routine now, and we want one that will work well with the bronze look of the eye, so we've opted for a champagne highlight - such as the ones in the ELF Illuminating palette. Pick up your Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo Fibre Powder brush and gently dust the high points of your face with your chosen highlight - the centre of the nose, the high cheekbones , the brow bones and also the inner corners of the eyes.

Pucker that pout! Since this look carries a bold eye, we want to keep the lips neutral but still smokin', so we're reaching for our Gerard Cosmetics Underground lipstick - the griege tone compliments the eye while not pulling focus from it. We're applying this with our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip brush for a precise finish and were then neatening up the lip line with some concealer and our Golden cat mini concealer brush!

To keep our masterpiece in place all day we are finishing with a generous spritz of the Makeup revolution Oil Control fix spray!
