No-Prosthetic Cindy Lou Who Look

Its that time to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and while its great to get all glammed up for a festive night out, what about those dress up parties? Christmas Jumpers are fun, and bauble earrings are cute .. but what about something really special? Today we're going to show you how to do this adorable Cindy Lou Who look, you'll look fresh out of Whoville with rosy cheeks and super long lashes, as well as the funkiest hair-do! This look will require 2 additional things, patience and a LOT of bobby pins!

We want to start with the base, and as Cindy Lou has that gorgeous fresh skin we are going to use a full coverage foundation. But first, we need to prime. So, taking some Girl Meets Pearl by Benefit we are working it all over the face with  our fingers.

Then, taking our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled brush and some Estee Lauder Double wear foundation mixed in with a little Jelly Pong Pong All over Glow we are blending it over the face in outward strokes for a streak free finish.

After, we are using our Bella&Bear Ocelot brush to work some concealer onto areas that may need to be disguised or brightened a little; the under eyes, the forehead, then chin and over any blemishes. We're using the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer for this.

Let's set that now. We want to keep that dewy glow to the skin so we are only going to set our concealer, not our foundation. Using our Bella&Bear Tiger brush we are pressing some Laura Mericer translucent powder on top of our concealer.

To lock that base in place we use a quick spritz of the Revolution oil control fixing mist. We spray in a X across the face and then a T down the T-zone.

We're working on the eyes now. We want to keep this minimal as, after all, Cindy Lou is just a little Who! So, we're first priming the lids using some Benefit Stay Dont Stray.

Then, using our Bella&Bear Sand Cat brush we are working a matte ivory shadow over the lid, up to the crease. We like the shade Foxy From the Urban decay Naked 2 palette for this.

To follow, we use our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush to work a matte taupe shadow into the crease of the eye, just to give a little definition. We're using the same palette here

Then, we gently pat some of the Collection Glam crystals liquid shadow in Aura onto the lid with our finger.

Lets start work on those features now. Cindy Lou has that precious little button nose, so we need to work on that now. Using the brush end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx Brow brush and some contour cream from the City Colors contour palette we are starting by drawing a O on the end of the nose, starting from the nostrils and working around.

Then we draw from the top of that circle along the top of the bridge of the nose.

We then use our finger to blend those lines out and make them less harsh. You can top up any lines you like to make the shape of the nose more apparent.

To follow, we do our biggest smile and use the same brush to accentuate the lines around the cheeks, making them look bigger and, well, cuter! Be sure to blend out again with your fingers.

Now lets add a rosy hue to the skin. Taking a matte pink blush - we're using the Revolution blush palette in Sugar and Spice - we are dusting it over the apples of the cheeks and the tip of the nose using our Bella&Bear Leopard cat brush.

We're curling the eyelashes now using our Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty curlers for a some serious lift. We then lock that curl in with a coat of mascara.

Now, we want to mimic those super long lashes Cindy Lou rocks, so taking our Bella&Bear Angled Tweezers we are placing some Ardell Demi wispies as close to the natural lash line as possible.

Once those have dried in place we are going to place some 'costume' lashes on too. We are cutting the outer edge lashes off of the strip and just placing them on top of the other falsies, allowing them plenty of time to dry.

We are going to fill in the brows now, we want them to be soft and natural so we are using the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush to brush the hairs into place.

Then we are using the brush end to work some Collection brow bar powder through the hairs just to fill in any sparser areas.

We are going to finish off the skin now with a little highlight. We're using a white highlight here to shine like snowdrops, and we are using our Bella&Bear Margay cat brush to dust it onto the apples of the cheeks, the tip of the nose and the cheekbones. We are using the Revolution Iced Hearts highlight here.

As for our lips we are just using a simple pink, simply to enhance the natural colour of the lips. So we take our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Brush and paint some Revolution Chauffer lipstick onto the lips.

Finally, we give the face another spritz with the Revolution setting spray to lock that look in place.

Of course, now Who would be complete without an outrageous hairdo! Cindy Lou is known for her super-cute hair and we want to replicate that for our look. To start we're brushing through the hair with our Bella&Bear The Bear Paddle brush to remove any knots and tangles.

Then, we;re going to pull a section of hair to the front, keeping it separate with a hair band. Next we create a braid on each side of the head, pulling it up and back on itself and pinning it in place on the side of the head.

There will of course be a little bit of hair left at the end of each braid so we are simply curling that and then finishing each braid with a piece of festive curling ribbon.

As for that section of hair at the front we are going to roll it backwards to create a sort of backward victory roll, then we secure it in place with bobbypins and finish it all with a lot of hairspray and this cute hair bow!

You're set to go! Just be sure to pull your top lip back for photos to get that flat upper lip appearance and to make your teeth look slightly bigger!
