The Oscars; Top 10 Beauty Picks

The 89th Oscars Ceremony hit our screens last night and apart from *that* major mishap, the stars were in full-on sparkle mode. As much as we love seeing the awards being handed out, we just can't get enough of the red carpet looks. There were so many gowns, accessories and shoes that we were lusting over this year, but what about the beauty look - we're going to share our top 10 with you today!

Ruth Negga looked flawless in her co-ordinating dress and lipstick. Her headpiece and earrings pulled the look together perfectly and bought a touch of vintage glamour. And, we love the way Ruth's hair has been pulled back to let her pretty face do the talking. Aren't those brows just to die for?! 

As if Emma Roberts could get any better?! Ugh! She simply looked stunning on the red carpet, channelling that classic Jessica Rabbit vibe. Her perfectly styled red locks had mirror shine while her pout was painted red (Charlotte Tilburys Matte Revolution Luminous Modern-Matte Lipstick in Red Carpet Red to be exact). 

Emma Stone literally shone like the star she is at this years Oscars ceremony. Ever the flawless girl, she was dripping in gold - from her gleaming vintage waves to her sparkly, smoky eyes. The look was pulled together with groomed brows and a statement, bold red lip. Emma, You are a dreamboat! 

It takes a special kinda girl to wear a topknot to such a massive event and carry it off effortlessly. Alicia Vikander is that girl, and we are so, so jealous right now! The perfectly laid-back look, complete with bronzed skin and blush lips, was complimented by that absolutely divine neck piece! Major girl crush! 

Ever the home-town girl, Kate Hudson kept things simple but elegant at the Oscars After-Party with loose hair, toned down makeup and chic earrings. Her skin is looking just radiant and we are loving it!

American Horror Story beaury Sarah Paulson was seriously rockin' that smoky eye look last night! Teamed with a nude lip, her eyes did all the talking and we love the way that her hairstyle is laid-back but ultra-cool.
 

Scarlett Johansson is like some kind of magical beauty chameleon who seriously looks good from every angle, with any hair colour, style, cut .. you name it, shes done it - and owned it! We love the way that Scarlett is rocking the roots and her minimal eye makeup, glowing skin and neutral lip is a winning combination for casual cool.

 

Katy Perry is officially back on the scene and, as always, is looking like a goddess. She slayed the Oscars After-Party with her groomed look last night. We absolutely love her fluttery lashes and nose ring! 

 

Sofia Carson looked the epitome of beauty in her slicked back up-do and sophisticated red lip. Her eyes were perfectly framed with gorgeous lashes and we just love the dewy finish to her skin.

Nicole Kidman is a timeless beauty and she was looking as gorgeous as ever last night (does she actually ever age?!) with a classic red lip and subtle eye combo. We love the way her hair is swept back with loose pieces coming down.
