Belle Inspired Look

Beauty and the Beast is everywhere right now. Like, everywhere. Belle is the girl we all love; shes down to earth, she lives in an enchanted castle and shes gorgeous! Whether you want to channel your inner Belle on your next shopping trip, if you're heading to Disneyland or a ComicCon, we've got the look for you. It's simple to create and will have you feeling like a princess in no time!

We want a really fresh and young looking skin so we are starting out by applying a primer all over the face and neck with our fingers. We've used the Benefit That Gal primer here.

Next, we are taking our Bella&Bear Jaguar Angled Kabuki and a light coverage foundation (we've used the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation), as we want the skin to look as natural as possible. We gently buffed this all over the face in outward and circular motions for a streak-free finish.

To erase any dark spots or blemishes on the skin we are applying some concealer and blending it in with our Bella&Bear Golden Cat Small Concealer Brush. Concealer can help to bring extra light and radiance to the skin, giving a flawless look.

Belle has very beautiful, intense eyes and, while we wont quite be able to make ours as big as hers, we want to mimic that with our shadows. To start we are applying some Benefit Stay Don;t Stray Primer on the lid and up to the brow bone blending it in with our fingers.

We are using the ChiChi Australia Spices palette for this look. Taking our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat Brush and a shimmer mid-brown shadow we are applying it all over the lid and up to the crease, creating a V shape on the outer corner and bringing the colour down to the lower lashline.

Next, to add depth we are picking up our Bella&Bear Black Footed Cat Brush and a slightly darker shimmer brown shadow and we are applying it to the outer corner and along the crease of the lid using a windscreen wiping motion.

To give the eyes some beautiful sparkle we are going to 'spotlight' the lid. This is where a highlighter or metallic shadow is applied just to the centre of the lid. We are using our Bella&Bear Iromote brush (your Golden Cat brush would also work)  and a golden shadow and we are pressing it directly onto the centre of the lid, gently blending it out on each side to avoid harsh lines.

To soften the shadows we are taking our Bella&Bear Pampas Cat Brush and are lightly blending everything together along the crease of the eye and on the outer corner.

To define the eyes further we are using our Bella&Bear Serval Angled Liner Brush to create a thin, extended wing on the eye. Try not to make this too thick as we want the focus to be on the shadows!

Then, for some princess worthy lashes we are using our Bella&Bear Eye&Mighty lash curlers to curl the lashes giving lift and a divine fanned out effect. After applying a thin coat of mascara (we used TooFaced Better Than Sex Mascara) we are going in with a set of natural but flared lashes. We're using the Revlon Featherlite L20 lashes and we are placing them as close to the natural lash line as possible with our Bella&Bear Angled Tweezers.

To frame the eyes and set the look off we are filling in and defining the brows. We're using our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx Brow Brush to do this; using the spoolie end to shape the brows, and the angled brush end to fill them in. We then used the spoolie end to brush through again and remove any excess product.

Belle's look is mostly natural so bronzer should be kept to a minimum here. We want to add a little structure to the face but we don't want to appear chiselled and contoured so we are just using our Bella&Bear Bobcat Blush Brush to lightly dust a matte bronzer along the hollows of the cheeks and around the temples. We used the ELF Studio Bronzer Quad for this

To give a delicate flush of colour to the face we are applying a light shimmer blusher. we're using the Bourjois Little Pot of Blush in 'Rose D'Or' and our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo Fiber Powder brush to dust the apples of the cheeks.

As with the skin, we want the lips to be fairly natural - which will also keep focus on those gorgeous eyes, so we are opting for a your-lips-but-better lipstick shade. We've chosen the Essence Longlasting Lipstick in '07 Natural Beauty' and we're applying it with our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush for precision and evenness.

To finish the look we are spritzing the face with a setting spray, which will give a radiant glow and will keep our makeup in place for hours

For our hair we are going for a wearable version of Belle's look. We're starting by making a centre parting and brushing through the hair with our Bella&Bear Paddle Brush to remove knots and make the hair shiny and smooth. We are then taking a thick front section of hair on each side and we are twisting it, pinning it at the back of the head. To follow, gently pull at the twist to loosen it up and give it a little more volume. To finish we are simply securing the hair in a low ponytail. Et voila!

To finish, pull on something yellow and keep a rose to hand, for perfect posing! We hope you enjoyed this look and don't forget to share your selfie with us on social media! You can find all of the Bella&Bear pieces used here today in our online store right now!
