Boardwalk Beauty Look

A beautiful Summer evening calls for drinks on the boardwalk, don't you agree?! You can get together with your girls and sip cocktails while taking in the views of the marina - so why not get a little glammed up for the occasion?

We're starting with our brows for this look. We begin by picking up our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush and we use the spoolie end to lightly brush through the brow hairs and shape them.

We then use the brush end to work some Revolution brow pomade through the hairs to fill in sparser areas and to create more of an arch and tail!

Then, to really define the shape of the brows we are picking up our Bella&Bear Golden Cat small concealer brush and we are using it to 'carve out' or outline the brows with some UD Naked Skin concealer - working the product outward to keep it seamless once we apply our foundation!

Now, lets work on those eyes. After applying some Kryolan shadow primer - which will lock our shadows in place - we are going in with a matte cream shadow on our Bella&Bear Sand Cat brush.

We follow this by taking our Bella&Bear Jaguarundy brush and we use it to work a matte warm brown shadow along the crease of the lid. Using a windscreen wiper motion will help here - you'll get an even application of product!

Then, we are using our Bella&Bear Marbled cat brush to stipple some Collection Glam Crystals Shadow in 'Aura' over the lid for a little twinkle to the eye!

Now, we are lining the eye to define! We want to play on a nautical theme here so we are opting for a navy liner. We used the Bella&Bear Caracal eyeliner brush to work some L.A Girl Fineline eyeliner in 'Dark Blue' along the upper lash line and into a wing.

Then, using our Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty Lash curler we are curling the lashes for some serious lift and locking in that curl with a coat of our fave mascara - Better Than sex by TooFaced.

For an extra touch we are adding on some falsies! We use our Bella&Bear Angled tweezers to place some Ardell Demi wispies falsies as close to the natural lash line as possible.

Lets work on that base now! Of course we first need to apply a primer to give our makeup a smooth and even base, so we are working some Benefit Porefessional Primer all over the face and allowing time to settle.

Then, we are going in with a full coverage foundation. We use our Bella&Bear Lynx foundation brush to work some Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation all over the skin and slightly down the neck to avoid tide lines.

We follow with a little concealer to disguise any problem areas. We use our Bella&Bear Ocelot large concealer brush to blend some more of that UD concealer into our foundation and cover everything seamlessly.

Now, for a little fix, we gently dust over the face using our Bella&Bear leopard face brush and some Laura Mercier translucent powder. This will give our skin a delicate matte finish and will help in setting our concealer, too.

Let's make that skin glow now! Taking our famous Bella&Bear Bobcat brush and some Hoola bronzer by Benefit we work it into the hollows of the cheeks, over the temples and along the hairline.

We are going to add a little more to the eyes now. Taking our caracal liner brush again and that same navy liner, we are simply drawing a thin line on the outer corner of the bottom lash line, meeting it with the wing you created earlier. We also add a coat of mascara to the bottom lashes here, too.

Let's make that skin sparkle now. We use our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo fiber powder brush to gently work some champagne highlight onto the high points of the face; the cheekbones, the tip of the nose, the cupids bow and the brow bones. We used the IHeartMakeup Iced Heart highlight here.

Final touches now! We're painting our lips with some Buffy Velvetine by Lime Crime using our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush for a subtle dash of colour.

We also dust over the decolletage with some of that same highlight for a gorgeous glow when the sun hits!

As for our hair, we're keeping is sleek and simple. We begin by brushing through using our Bella&Bear Brush on you detangler for smooth and knot-free locks.

We then use the comb from the Brush on you set to pull out 2 sections from the front of the hair. We gently pull this behind the ear and clip it down to keep it back.

Then, we let the rest of the hair fall in front of it!

We love this look - the dash of glitter and the pop of navy make for a perfect smart-casual makeup! Be sue to share your summer #bellaandbearbabes snaps with us for a chance to be featured on our grid!
