Cherry blossom look
Todays look is inspired by the natural beauty of the Japanese Cherry Blossom trees, it features soft colours, a fresh glow and a dewy skin! It's perfect for park walks or spring time brunches and will make you feel perfectly pretty!
Lets start with the eyes, priming them first to lock in those shadows. We pat some Kryolan eyeshadow primer over the lid and up to the brow bone with our ring finger.
Next, taking a matte ivory shadow, like 'Blank Canvas' from the Limecrime Venus XL palette, we work it onto the lid using our Bella&Bear Sand Cat brush.
Now, we're going to add some of that beautiful cherry blossom colour. Using shadow 'goddess' from the same Limecrime venus XL palette and our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay cat brush we are working it into the crease of the eye, blending upward for a softer effect.
Now lets make that lid pop! We take our Bella&Bear Golden Cat concealer brush and some Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer and we apply it directly to the lid in a dome shape.
Lets press a matte white shadow on to that concealer now to set it in place and make our eyes look larger. We use our Bella&Bear Jaguarundy cat brush for this.
For something a little sparkly we are now using our Bella&Bear Caracal liner brush and some Maybelline 24hr tattoo shadow in 'Pink Gold' and we are drawing a delicate line along the crease where our two shadows meet.
Next, lets define the eyes with a little liner. Using our Bella&Bear Serval angled liner brush and some Essence Cushion liner we are drawing in a thin, long wing along the upper lash line.
For ultra feminine lashes we are going to curl them using our Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty lash curler, holding for 20-30 seconds on each eye for lift. We lock that curl in with a coat of the Benefit Roller lash mascara.
We are also going to apply some super whispy lashes now. Using our Bella&Bear Angled tweezers, we pop some Vegas Nay 'Easy Elegance' lashes as close to the upper lash line as possible.
Lets fill in our brows now to frame those pretty eyes.
We start off by brushing through the brow hairs using the spoolie our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush, this will tame the hairs into shape a little.
Now, using the brush end we work some ABH Dipbrow pomade through the hairs to fill in any sparser areas and to enhance the shape.
To make the brows really defined we are also going to carve them out now. Taking our Bella&Bear Golden cat concealer brush again, and some more of that same UD concealer we draw around the outside of our brows with it, and then work the product upward and outward.
Lets get to work on that base now! We begin by priming the face with some Benefit Porefessional Pearl. Giving it time to settle into the skin after application, before moving onto the next step.
Then, we use our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki to work some Revolution conceal and define foundation over the skin, blending down the neck slightly to avoid tidelines around the jaw.
For a truly flawless look we are going in with our concealer now, using it to disguise any problem areas the skin may have like dark circles or blemishes. We use our Bella&Bear Ocelot concealer brush to work this into the skin blending it in with our foundation.
Finally, for a matte finish to the skin (and to set that concealer) we are going to dust over the face with a setting powder. We're using our Bella&Bear Leopard face brush and some Essence Go Matte powder here.
Let's add a soft dose of colour to the skin now. We're skipping the bronzer for this look in favour of a blush. Using our Bella&Bear Tiger brush and some TooFaced Papa Dont Peach blush we work it into the hollows of the cheeks, onto the temples and around the hairline.
For final touch-ups to the eyes now we are going to use our Bella&Bear Marbled cat brush to work some of that same pink shadow along the lower lash-line, pulling the product downward as we go to make the line less harsh.
Let's work on a pretty lip look now, of course we first need to line our lips to stop any product bleeding out or feathering. We're using the Essence Lip Liner in Soft Berry here.
Then, using our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush and some Revolution Renaissance Lipstick in Greatest we paint the lips.
We finish off our skin with a fresh glow. Taking some white shimmer shadow on our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo Fiber brush - we used Cosmic by Urban Decay - we dust it over the cheek bones, the temples, the tip of the nose and the cupids bow.
Finally, lets do a little something with our hair. We start by brushing through with our Bella&Bear Brush on you detangler (you can see how much its reduced my frizz from previous pics) and then we pull it all back into a low bun, securing tightly.
Then, we pop on our favourite auburn wig and add in some faux flowers! Its that simple!
