Whether you celebrate the 4th with a family bbq, or a firework display its nice to get dressed up special and look the part! Today's look is super patriotic and will get you right in the mood for some celebrations! 

Lets begin with our brows - we brush through them using the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx Brow brush to tame and lightly shape them.

Next, using the brush end and some Revolution brow pomade with fill in and define the shape of the brows. 

Now, for some extra definition we are going to 'carve out' our brows. We use our Bella&Bear Golden cat brush to work some Essence camouflage+ concealer around the edge of the brows, blending it outward .

Its time to work on our eyes now, we are keeping them neutral and simple to allow our other accents to be main features of the look.

After priming them with some Kryolan eyeshadow primer to keep our shadows locked in place, we are going in with a base shadow. We use our Bella&Bear Sand cat brush to apply a matte ivory shadow to the lid and up to the brow bone.

Now, to give the eye some depth we are using our Bella&Bear Bornean bay cat brush to work a matte chocolate brown shadow into the crease of the eye. We use a windscreen wiper motion for even distribution of the product.

Let line the eyes now for definition. We take our Bella&Bear Caracal eyeliner brush and some ELF cream liner and we draw a long, thin wing along the upper lash line.

We are using our Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty Curlers to curl the lashes now. We curl for 20-30 seconds on each eye for lift and then we lock that curl in with a coat of the Maybelline Lash sensational mascara.

For something a little extra special we are adding some falsies now. We use our very own Bella&Bear Angled tweezers to place a pair of Ardell Demi Wispies falsies as close to the natural lash line as possible for an undetectable finish.

Lets work on our skin now. After priming with some Bodyshop Instablur we go in with our base. We are mixing a full coverage foundation - Estee Lauder Double Wear - with the Bodyshop Drops of Glow luminiser and we are working it over the face and slightly down the neck using our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki for a dewy, bright skin!

Now, we want to disguise any problem areas so we are using our Bella&Bear Ocelot large concealer brush and some of that same Essence concealer to work over blemishes and dark circles, blending downward and outward for a seamless finish.

To bring some light to the eyes we are adding an opal highlight now - we love the Revolution Skin kiss in Star Kiss - and we press it right into the inner corners using our Bella&Bear Marbled cat brush.

Lovely! Now lets add a healthy flush to our complexion with a matte bronzer. We pick up our Bella&Bear Bobcat brush and use it to dust the hollows of the cheeks, the temples and the hairline with some Hoola Bronzer by Benefit.

We follow this with a generous dusting of highlight. Taking our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo fiber brush and some Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector highlight we are working it onto the high points of the face for a gorgeous glow.

Its time to let that red white and blue shine! First we are applying a small amount of silver star temporary tattoos over the cheeks and nose. We wet them and peel the back off using our Bella&Bear pointed tweezers to avoid damaging the design.

Now, using the Bodyshop pencil in 'royal blue' we draw on some more stars between the silver ones - these could be as big or small as you prefer.

We lock that in place with a spritz of the Bodyshop Rose face mist.

As for our lips, you know they've gotta be red! After lining the lips using some Revolution Renaissance in 'classic' we are filling in the lips using the Revolution Renaissance lipstick also in Classic. We use our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat lip brush to do this as it gives a precise and bleed-free finish.

For a little extra sparkle we are working some silver body glitter over the decolletage using our Bella&Bear Margay Cat brush. 

We are keeping our hair simple for this look - simply brushing it through using our Bella&Bear Brush on you detangler for sleek, tangle-free locks.

We then pop on our DIY Star Spangled headband (find the tutorial here) and we're ready for some celebrating!
