Mothers day lunch look

Isnt it lovely to catch up with your mum over a leisurely lunch?! And, what better excuse to treat her than mothers day! Its great to get all dressed up and enjoy some time together, so join us today as we get this beautiful lunch-date look, just perfect for mothers day!

We're going for a feminine, romantic look here with big eyes, soft lips and rosy cheeks.

Starting with the skin,we're going to prime using the BodyShop Instablur to give our makeup a smooth and even canvas.

Next, using our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki, we take a full coverage foundation - such as the TooFaced born this way foundation and we work it onto the face and slightly down the neck.

Next, we want to disguise any problem areas we may have, so taking some Revolution Conceal and Define concealer and our Bella&Bear Ocelot brush, we work it onto the skin outwards to blend it into our foundation.

We want a matte skin for this look so we are now dusting some Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder over with our Bella&Bear Leopard face brush.

Of course we also need to set that, so we are spritzing the face using some Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray

Next, its time to work on the eyes. Using some Kryolan Eye shadow primer we work it onto the lid and up to the brow bone. This will stop our shadows from creasing and will make an even base for them.

We now use our Bella&Bear Sandcat brush to work a matte cream shadow directly onto the lid. We're using the Urban Decay Naked palette here.

Lets define the shape of the eye a little now. Using our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush and 'tease' from the same UD palette (or a matte taupe shadow), we are going to work it into the crease of the eye to define it. We use a windscreen wiper motion here for an even distribution of product.

Now, taking our Bella&Bear Marbled Cat brush and a chocolate brown shadow (we're using 'Busted' from that same UD palette), we work it onto the outer corner of the eye to give depth.

We want quick a thick liner wing on this look to enhance the eye and make them look bigger. So, we go in with our Bella&Bear caracal liner brush some some ELF Gel liner and we draw it in along the upper lash line.

Now for our lashes, we begin by curling them using our Bella&Bear eye and mighty lash curlers for serious lift and we lock in that curl with a coat of the Benefit roller lash mascara.

Next, we use our Bella&Bear Angled tweezers to place a pair of lightweight lashes as close to the lash line as possible. We have used the Eylure X Vegas Nay 'Easy Elegance' falsies here for a your-lashes-but-better look.

We also want to make those eyes look larger now, so we go in with a white kohl pencil along the lower waterline - we're using the Revolution inner eye brightener pencil here.

We are also going in with our Bella&Bear Jaguarundy cat brush and some pink shadow (we're using 'Ping' from the UD Naked cherry palette), and we're just softly dusting it along the lower lashline for a pop of colour.

Lets frame those eyes now with some lovely brows. We are first brushing the hairs through with the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush. We want them to be somewhat unruly (or untamed) for this look.

Now, using the brush end we work some brow powder through the brows to fill in sparser areas and further define the shape.

Lets add a beautiful blush to those cheeks now. Using our Bella&Bear Bobcat brush, we dust the cheeks (from the apple toward the hairline) with a dusty rose blush. We love the Bourjois pot of blush in 'Rose Ambre' here.

Although we want our skin to have that delicate matte finish, we are going to highlight the inner corner of the eye now to give them a little sparkle. So, taking a  highlight, we're using Ofra's 'Rodeo Drive', we use our Bella&Bear Golden Cat brush and we press it into the inner corner of the eye generously.

Lets finish up with a pink pout. After lining the lips with some Essence Soft Berry liner, we use our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat lip brush to paint them with some Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lip in Petal

And, as for our hair, we want to keep that casual and feminine too. So, we start by brushing through with our Bella&Bear Brush on you Detangler to make the hair sleek and shiny.

Then, we pull the hair back into a super low, loose bun and we use our Bella&Bear comb to tease out some strands around the front.

We finish off by loosely curling the strands for texture and volume!

Gorgeous!

However you and your mum are celebrating this year we hope you have a wonderful time together and make lots of memories! Don't forget you can treat your mum to something from our store right now, too!
