Office Christmas Party Look!
The sparkliest season of all is here. Parties here, there and everywhere, but none other is like the office Christmas party - you can let your hair down and have a fun time with your colleagues and afterwards you'll have stories to see you through to the next one!
Although we love a red lip, this season is full of them - so we thought it was good idea to try out a look with an alternative lip color. Still as sassy, still as fun - but it'll make you stand out from the crowd!
After buffing some Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow all over our face for a gorgeous glow we are picking up our Bella&Bear Jaguar Angled Kabuki and applying some Revlon PhotoReady foundation to the face and blending it down the neck - the Jaguar brush is particularly good at getting into all the curves and contours of your face.
Next we picked up some Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer and we used our Bella&Bear Ocelot Concealer Brush to disguise any dark or problem areas on the face.
To set the concealer in place we applied some ELF Studio HD Translucent powder with our Bella&Bear Tiger Powder Brush. We dusted it gently over the shiny areas of the face and the places where we had applied concealer.
To start on the eyes we are applying a primer - Benefit Stay Dont Stray is our fave - with our ring finger - taking it all the way up to the brow bone. This will help keep our eye makeup in place all night and it'll also give the colors some extra pop!
We are then taking our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush and a matte brown shadow (hint; we used 'Soft&Sexy' from the Zoeva Naturally Yours Palette) and we are blending into the crease of the eye using a windscreen wiping motion.
To follow we're taking our Bella&Bear Leopard Cat Pencil Brush and a sparkly dark brown shadow (we used 'Mars' from the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic palette) and we're creating a wing with it on the outer corner of the eye, blending it gently along the crease.
Next, we using our Bella&Bear Iromote brush to press a golden glitter shadow onto the lid of the eye - we love the ChiChi Spices palette for this, its got a great range of shimmer, glitter and metallic shadows. We then picked up our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cay Brush to blend everything together seamlessly.
To give the eye some serious definition we are going to create a dramatic, bold liner wing. We used our new Bella&Bear Serval Eyeliner Brush and some liquid liner to steadily draw on the design, building it up slowly until we got the look we wanted.
After applying some Benefit Roller lash mascara to the top and bottom lashes, we added some falsies. This is optional but we think they really make a statement for a party. We used our Bella&Bear Angled Tweezers to apply the falsies as close the natural lashline as possible and gave the glue 20 seconds to dry.
To frame the eyes we filled in the brows. Using some Freedom Makeup Brow Pomade and our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx Brow Brush we brushed the hairs into place with the spoolie end and then used the brush end to fill in and define the shape of the brows. We then brushed through them again with the spoolie end to disperse any excess product. You could also set the brows, too!
To give the face a gorgeous structure we picked up our new Bella&Bear Bobcat Angled Blush Brush and the Elf Studio Bronzing Quad and used a matte bronzer to dust the cheekbones and the temples. The angled shape of our new brush means it is super easy to apply your powders in just the right areas of the face.
To pull the look together we opted for a matte brown pout. Taking 'Salem' Limecrime Velvetine and our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush we carefully filled in the lips, over-lining them a little for extra shape!
To really give the look some dazzle we picked up our fave golden highlight - the IHeartMakeup Hot Summer of Love palette and our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo Fiber Powder Brush and we dusted the cheekbones, the tip of the nose, the cupids bow and the browbone!
Lastly we spiritzed the face with some Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray to keep your look in place whatever the night brings!
We decided to opt for a relaxed curl with this look. We achieved this by curling the hair, letting it cool and then brushing through thr curls with our Bella&Bear Paddle Brush, and finishing with a gloss spray!
That's it! Pull on your party dress and dance the night away! We hope you have a Christmas to remember and don't forget to tag us with your Christmas looks - we'd love to see them!
