Santa's Little Helper Look!

With only a week to go until the big day, its time to throw ourselves into the festive spirit.. and what better way than getting dolled up as Santa's little helper?! Wear this adorable look to your parties, church celebrations or even for wrapping sessions with your friends!

Start by applying a glowing creme to the skin for a subtle shimmer! We used the Kiko Hydra Pro glow and blended it over the face and neck with our fingers.

Next, to even out the skin and make it appear flawless we are going in with a full coverage foundation. We took the Too Faced Born this Way Foundation and we applied it to the face with our very own Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki, making sure to blend slightly down the neck to avoid those dreaded tide lines.

To disguise any problem areas and keep the skin fresh and bright we are going in with our concealer. We used the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer, applying it over dark circles and blemishes.and we worked it into our foundation with our Bella&Bear Golden Cat concealer brush for a seamless finish.

Finally, to set that concealer in place we took our Bella&Bear Margay Cat brush and a pressed translucent powder. We wanted to keep the skin dewy so we made sure to only press the powder onto the concealed areas to stop the product from creasing or sliding. If you prefer a matte skin or have oily skin then you could go ahead and dust the whole face with your pressed powder.

We also spritzed the face with some Makeup Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray to lock that base in place.

To add a healthy glow to the face we are next going to use a warm matte bronzer and work it over the hollows of the cheeks and the temples with our Bella&Bear Bobcat blush brush. We used the ELF Studio bronze quad here.

Using that same bronzer, we shaded the sides of our nose and also across the tip of the nose with our Bella&Bear Black Footed Cat brush, to narrow the nose out and make the tip more pronounced and rounded.

For that signature North Pole rosy glow we are then going to apply a rose pink blush to the apples of the cheeks and also over the tip of the nose with our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo Fiber Powder Brush. We opted for the ELF Studio blush quad for this look.

Now, lets add some extra glow! Taking our Bella&Bear Margay Cat brush again, and some white highlight - we love the I Heart makeup Heart in 'Iced Hearts' - we generously dusted the high points of the cheeks, the brow bones, the cupids bow and the tip of the nose.

For a little extra cute, lets add some freckles. Using our nifty Bella&Bear freckle hack (see the full post here), we applied freckles to the cheeks and over the nose. We use our Bella&Bear detangling brush for this, putting brow gel onto the bristles, then pressing them onto the skin.

Now lets work on the eyes. We want to make them appear bright and large, but first, we have to prime to keep those shadows locked in place! we applied some Freedom makeup shadow primer to the lids, blending it in with our ringfinger.

We then took our Bella&Bear Sand cat brush and applied a matte ivory shadow over the lid. We used the Zoeva Naturally Yours Palette for this look, choosing shade 'pure' here.

Then, to create deeper looking eyes we are using a matte light brown shadow and working it into the crease of the eye with our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush, using a windscreen wiper motion. We used shade Soft'n'Sexy

To intensify that eye we are then going in with a dark brown shadow, working it onto the outer corner of the eye in a V shape using our Bella&Bear Leopard Cat brush.

For an extra bit of shimmer we are also going to apply some glitter shadow along the lower lash line using our Bella&Bear Fishing Cat Brush. We used the MUA Rusted Wonders palette for this - choosing a pink shimmer shade.

To define the eyes we are now going to use our liner. Taking a black liner (we love the Essence liner cushion) and our Bella&Bear Caracal liner brush we are creating a wing along the upper lashline.

Then, after applying a coat of TooFaced Better Than Sex mascara we are going to go in with some false lashes. These will open the eyes and make them appear larger and more feminine. We used our Bella&Bear Angled tweezers to place some Eylure exaggerate #141 lashes as close to the natural lash line as possible, allowing the glue to dry before moving on.

As a final step we are going to frame the eyes by filling in the brows. We used the brush end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx Brow Brush and some Freedom makeup brow pomade to fill in and define the shape of the brows. We then used to the spoolie end to brush them through and disperse any excess product.

And, of course no festive look would be complete without a full red lip. We used our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat lip brush to fill in the lips with some Lime Crime Velvetine in Wicked. Using our brush ensures clean lines and an even coat of product.

We then brushed through the hair with our Bella&Bear the Bear Paddle brush for smooth, sleek hair and popped on a cute Santa hat!

We here at Bella&Bear hope that you have a happy, safe and glamorous Christmas - and don't forget you can treat your loved ones (and yourself) to our amazing pieces from our online store right now!
