Solar Flare Makeup look

Autumn is slowly creeping up on us and while we are enjoying the last of the summer sun we are looking forward to all things fall; leafy walks, hot drinks and of course colourful landscapes. Todays look is a mix of golden summer tones and classic autumnal reds, combined perfectly to create a look to take you from now through til early winter.

Lets start by creating a radiant base. Using our fingers we applied some Jelly PongPong All Over Glow to our face.

After letting this set we went on to apply our foundation. We wanted a flawless look to the skin for this look so we used a full coverage foundation. Weapon of choice - Estee Lauder Double Wear. We applied this to the face and neck with our new Bella&Bear Jaguar Angled Kabuki in outward and downward motions for a streak free finish.

We then went in with our concealer to disguise our dark circles and blemishes. We applied some Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in a triangle shape under the eye and over blemishes and blended it into our foundation with our Bella&Bear Ocelot Large Concealer Brush.

To keep that all in place we applied our translucent powder. We took our Bella&Bear Leopard Face Brush and some ELF Studio HD powder and we brushed it all over the skin for a matte finish. If you prefer a dewy finish then you can just apply your powder over your concealer to keep it in place all day.

Before starting work on the eyes we applied a primer all over the lid to make our eye shadows vivid and to keep them in place until removal. We used Benefits Stay Don't Stray for this - applying it with our fingertips.

We then went in with our base shadow. We used a matte cream shadow and applied it over the lid and to the brow bone with our Bella&Bear Pampas cat brush. Doing this will create an even skin tone on the lid.

Next, we took the MUA Fire Vixen palette, selecting a matte muted red shadow, and our Bella&Bear Jaguarundy brush and we began applying it to the outer corner of the eye, along the crease and the inner corner of the eye. You can keep doing this to build up the colour as much as you prefer.

We are going to create a spotlight effect on the eye for this look, but first we want to prepare the area for ultimate effect, so taking our Bella&Bear Iromote brush and our concealer we are pressing it onto the centre of the lid.

Then we took the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic palette and using our Iromote brush we pressed the shade 'Sun' on top of our concealer. This is a beautiful baked golden shadow with red flecks but really any golden shadow will work!

Next, we took our Bella&Bear Leopard Cat pencil brush and we worked some of that same golden shadow into the inner corner of the eye for pretty glimmer

To add a little more depth to the eye we are taking a deeper red shadow (we used 'Aphrodite ' from the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic palette) and our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush and we are just working it around the outer corner of the eye and along the lower lash line.

Then, we went in with eyeliner! Creating a long wing will really define the eye and give it dramatic shape. We used our new Bella&Bear Serval Angled Liner Brush and the Essence Cushion Liner to create our wing.

After applying some TooFaced Perfect Eyes liner to the lower waterline and a coat of our fave mascara (Benefit 'They're Real'), we went in with some falsies! We applied some Ardell Demi Wispies as close to the lash line as possible with our Bella&Bear Angled Tweezers.

Lets frame those eyes with some killer brows. Using the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush we brushed through our brow hairs to shape them how we wanted.

We then took some ABH DipBrow Pomade and the brush end and we filled in and defined the brows. You can always go back in with the spoolie end and brush through the brows to disperse any excess product.

We wanted to add a little colour to the face so we took our ELF Studio bronzer quad and our new Bella&Bear Jaguar Angled Kabuki and we gently dusted the hollows of the cheeks and the temples - this will also add a little structure to the face.

Its time to highlight. Taking our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo Fiber Powder brush and a golden or champagne hued highlight (we used the IHeartMakeup Hot Summer of Love powder) we highlighted the high points of the face; the cheek bones, the cupids bow, the tip of the nose and the brow bones.

Finish the look with some sultry lips. We filled our pout in with the Essence Lip Pencil in wine lips to perfectly compliment the eyes. We then spritzed the face with some Makeup Revolution Oil Control fixing spray to keel the look in place all day!

You can then let your hair down, throw on your fave red outfit and get ready to be the focus of all eyes. We decided to brush our hair back with our Bella&Bear 'The Bear' Paddle brush and put on our fave silver wig, pulling the look together with a nude wide brim hat!
