First Aladdin, next The Lion King.. Disney are hot on their remakes this year and we couldn't be happier. But, it doesnt stop there! We rcently saw a M.A.C X Aladdin collection and you just know that the Lion King is having one too!
However, this isn't just any collection. This collection was curated by none other than Sir John - Beyonces personal makeup artist - and is being created by brand Luminess cosmetics. Beyonce is bringing all the girl power to the movie by lending her voice to the role of Nala, and now you will be able to style yourself like her too, with the launch of the new 8 piece collection.
First of all are 2 palettes! Eep!
There's the Can't Wait to be Queen Eye Shadow Palette ($42), a 12 pan palette in a mix of shimmers and mattes. From earthy hues to jewel tones, you'll be able to create looks straight from Pride Rock, or brighter eyes as seen on Broadway!
There's also the stunning Kingdom Sculpting Palette ($42), which houses 6 shades of contouring and brightening powders. You'll find a muted pink, a red-brown, two medium browns and a deep brown. Sir John says “I work with all kinds of women, from Harlem to Hong Kong, and so I had to make sure that this was something that was universally flattering. I can’t build to any one demographic or else I’m going to alienate all my other girls.” So lovely!
For the glowy side of things, you can pick up the Circle of Life Highlight ($40), which is a shimmering golden-pink in a, you guessed it, circle pan!
For lips, there are a few products in the collection! First up, there's the Be Brave Matte Lipsticks ($24). This bullet style lipstick is embossed with scratches and housed in a casing designed with the lions eye! There are 2 shades available; Lions Mane - a nude pink - and Pounce - a bright orange red.
The Be Prepared Liquid Lips ($24) are highly pigmented and also available in two shades; a deep red and a chocolate brown.
The Legacy Tinted Lip Balm ($24) is also an ideal Summer piece, perfect for those beach days when you just want a hint of makeup!
