Its the most wonderful time of year! Time to enjoy moments with loved ones, delicious food and beautiful scenery! Don't forget to pay some of that cheer forward by doing good deeds for those around you. Today we're sharing some simple ideas to spread happiness this holiday season!
1. Bake goodies for your neighbors
In the midst of all of the hustle and bustle this season brings, isn't it nice to pause for a moment with a warm drink and something sweet?! Pass that feeling on by baking something for your friends or neighbors! Its a great way to show you care and to take some stress off! You could bake cookies or try your hand at our Vegan gingerbread cheesecake recipe - keep an eye on our blog over the next couple of weeks for more yummy recipes!
2. Donate to a food bank.
Those little things in your store cupboard that are neatly stacked and barely looked at could be a lifeline to someone less fortunate. Consider packing a donation hamper with essentials like tinned soup and vegetables, pasta, coffee and maybe even some mince pies. Then wrap it up and drop it to a local food bank or shelter, it could really make all the difference to someone, especially at this time of year.
3. Decorate for an elderly neighbor or relative
Isn't it lovely to sit and admire your twinkling Christmas tree each evening. Lights glowing, ornaments glistening. Don't forget that some people are not so easily able to decorate their homes for Christmas - particularly the elderly. So, spread some cheer by offering to set up your elderly neighbors tree for them and helping them to string on the lights or hang their garlands. They will really appreciate it and it could make their Christmas that much more special!
4. Give your relative a Christmas make over.
